It is the first organic Dogliani of the Produttori in Clavesana, a bet won by the winery and by the younger members who believe in new methods of growing grapes in the Langa hills. 100% Dolcetto, takes its name from the territory that acts as a bridge between the Barolo, Alta Langa, the Cuneo plain and the Langhe hills.
Dogliani DOCG is produced in the Western Langhe in the province of Cuneo (Piedmont), in an area characterised by steep rock faces of marine origin known as "calanchi", which give the area a wild and beautiful appearance. The vineyards are situated 300-600 metres above sea level, in clayey soils, sometimes with a fair amount of limestone. The vineyard is managed according to the specification of organic viticulture.
Dogliani DOCG has a ruby red colour with violet highlights. The colour evokes the scents found in the bouquet, mostly of fruits of the forest, such as blackberry and raspberry, but also spices like cloves. Dogliani DOCG is tannic and dry, accompanied by a pleasant acidity.
