Langhe DOC Chardonnay

Chardonnay has a high yield in the Langhe in terms of quality and expression of the grape's characteristics. Langhe DOC Chardonnay is a wine made from Chardonnay grapes, ideal for drinking in a wide variety of situations as it is a highly versatile white wine. It ages in steel tanks to maintain the crispness and acidity that are characteristic of the grape. 

PRODUCTION AREA
Produced with Chardonnay grapes in the Alta Langa area. The vineyards are located at 300-600 metres above sea level, in marly soils veined with sand.

TASTING NOTES
Langhe DOC Chardonnay evokes the typical aromas of the grape variety and a straw yellow colour with greenish hues. The bouquet is intense and fruity, with a persistent hint of acacia and honey. The palate is simultaneously savoury, crisp and acidic, with distinct and persistent floral notes.

Langhe DOC Chardonnay is a versatile wine that lends itself well to all kinds of occasions. The ideal gastronomic combination is with elegant and simple dishes, cold antipasti, fish dishes such as "spaghetti allo scoglio", grilled swordfish steaks or lightly fried squid. Also delicious with soft cheeses and vegetarian dishes.
