Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC

Nebbiolo d’Alba is a DOC wine made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes in the area of the province of Cuneo between the Langhe and Roero, that covers 25 municipalities. It reaches its best expression after ageing for a few years.

PRODUCTION AREA
Produced with 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Langhe in vineyards situated 250-400 metres above sea level, in marly limestone soils of marine origin. 

TASTING NOTES
Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC has a colour that varies from ruby red to garnet. The nose opens to ethereal and spicy scents, with hints of fruit preserved in spirit and cherry. The tannins lend the palate a pleasant, velvety and decisive sensation, followed by an aftertaste that conveys acidity and drinkability, creating a dry and harmonious result.

BEST FOOD PAIRINGS
Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC is a very versatile wine that can be drunk with all courses of a meal. It pairs well with charcuterie and cheeses, especially blue and mature types. An excellent wine with main courses featuring meat, but also with agnolotti del plin and tajarin.
