Piemonte DOC Spumante is a sparkling wine made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. Vinification takes place using the Classic Method, with at least 20 months’ ageing on lees.
Piemonte Spumante is a DOC wine which can be produced in the provinces of Cuneo, Alessandria and Asti. The vineyards are situated at altitudes of over 250 metres above sea level, in sandy-limestone soils.
Piemonte DOC Spumante has a beautiful pale yellow colour with slightly greenish highlights and a fine perlage. The bouquet features intense fruity notes and secondary aromas such as yeast and crusty bread, which develop during the prise di mousse and the time spent on lees. The palate is savoury and balanced with a tart finish that leaves you wanting to drink another glass.
